Kia Quoris 2020 Model

Kia Quoris 2020 Model

The Kia Quoris also known as Kia k900 is the Korean manufacturer’s new flagship saloon, and a clear signal of the brand’s intention to compete head-to-head with the European motor manufacturers in the executive and luxury saloon sectors.

The five-metre-long, rear-drive machine is predominantly angled at the USA, Middle East and Russia, as well as the domestic South Korean market. In some countries, the Quoris is also known as the K900 or K9.

Is the Kia K900 a Good Car?

Yes, the Kia K900 is a good luxury large car. This a palatial cruiser that moves with authority, thanks to a muscular twin-turbocharged V6 engine. It focuses on comfort over sportiness with a pillowy-soft ride that pampers occupants.

Speaking of pampering, all of the seats deliver a first-class experience. Throw in a slightly above-average dependability rating and user-friendly technology, and the K900 is a solid all-around proposition. If you’re looking for weaknesses, you’ll have to focus on the K900’s lower-grade cabin materials and so-so fuel economy.

How Much Does It Cost to Insure a Kia K900?

The cost of insuring a Kia K900 will depend on a variety of factors, including your deductible, the level of coverage that you want, and the type of insurance that you choose. Your age, gender, location, credit score, and driving record can also have an impact on your insurance rates. Check out our car insurance guide  to find the best policy for you.

K900 Interior

How Many People Does the K900 Seat?

The Kia K900 is a five-seat luxury sedan. Occupants are treated to standard Nappa leather upholstery, along with heated and ventilated front seats. The front seats have all the comfort of a living room recliner, with 20-way power adjustments for the driver and 16-way power adjustments for the passenger. A power tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel – which is made of wood, wrapped in leather, and heated – is also standard.

Second-row accommodations are just as inviting. Those seats are heated, and you also get manual side-window sunshades and a power rear-window sunshade. Legroom is expansive, and even very tall riders should be able to stretch out.

The VIP package equips the rear outboard seats with ventilation and about a dozen power adjustments.

K900 and Child Car Seats

There are two complete sets of LATCH connectors for the K900’s rear outboard seats.

K900 Interior Quality

The K900 is Kia’s flagship car, and it mostly hits the mark in its objective to be a lower-cost luxury sedan. Most cabin materials are premium and impressive, and every model is outfitted with plush Nappa leather seats and real wood trim pieces. However, some critics lament that there are too many painted plastic pieces for a car in this class.

K900 Infotainment, Bluetooth, and Navigation

The K900’s standard infotainment system consists of a 12.3-inch touch screen with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and a 17-speaker Lexicon premium stereo. There’s also Bluetooth, wireless device charging, and multiple USB ports.

This user-friendly interface is prevalent in other Kia vehicles. On-screen menus are simple, and the system reacts quickly to your touches. Even on a display this large, graphics are crisp and impressive. The touch screen and buttons are easy to reach from the driver’s seat. The center stack has a simple layout, with well-positioned and clearly labeled buttons and switches.

K900 Performance

K900 Engine: Trusty Turbo

The K900 comes standard with a 3.3-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine that’s rated at 365 horsepower and 376 pound-feet of torque. This is the same powertrain found in the performance-oriented Kia Stinger GT, and it feels just as much at home in this big sedan. It also gives the K900 the most standard horsepower in the class, an honor it shares with its corporate cousin, the Genesis G90.

The K900 accelerates swiftly and gets up to speed with little effort. Even when working hard, the twin-turbo V6 engine feels refined and exhibits little excess noise or harshness, further contributing to a luxury driving experience. A standard eight-speed automatic transmission delivers smooth and timely shifts.

K900 Gas Mileage: Not Great

The all-wheel-drive 2020 K900 gets an EPA-estimated fuel economy rating of 18 mpg in the city and 25 mpg on the highway. Those figures are unimpressive for a luxury large car.

K900 Reliability

Is the Kia K900 Reliable?

The 2020 Kia K900 has a slightly above-average predicted reliability rating of 3.5 out of five from J.D. Power.

Kia K900 Warranty

Kia covers the K900 with a five-year/60,000-mile basic warranty and a 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty. This is one of the longest warranties in the industry.

K900 Safety Features

The 2020 K900 comes standard with all of the advanced safety and driver assistance technology you would expect from a range-topping luxury sedan. Among them are forward collision warning, pedestrian detection, forward and reverse automatic emergency braking, automatic high-beam headlights, adaptive headlights, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, lane departure warning, and lane keep assist.

You’ll also get conveniences such as a head-up display, driver attention monitoring, adaptive cruise control, a surround-view parking camera system, rain-sensing windshield wipers, front and rear parking sensors, and a rearview camera.

When you activate adaptive cruise control, lane tracing assist keeps you centered in your lane, providing gentle automatic steering. And new-for-2020 Highway Driving Assist can adjust your set speed based on the posted speed limits on certain federal highways.
